40D AF Problems?

Hello all

I have seen a few folks down here who claim to have AF issues with their 40D cameras mainly with long lenses - 500 f/4 and birding shots.

I would like to believe it is more of a village idiot + complicated camera scenario...

Any similar issues there?

Ive never had any problems with mind and im one of those village idiots

Believe me, there are guys down here in my village who will take the concept to astral altitudes in stellar fashion...

There would be no competition as an olympic event...

BUT great to hear you do not have those issues

I maintain it is a matter of guys with zero knowledge and thick enough wallets - there are plenty down here - and then they blame the gear.
