400D Sensor Cleaning?

Hi,
Some help, I was wondering about the sensor cleaning on my camera. It is set to clean when switched on and then when its turned off.

Is this ok to have it set like this or will it lead to problems and should i clean it in the manual setting?

It's fine like that That's how I've set it.

That's how mine's set; but it still gets dirty sometimes
