We've reached another milestone! 400 members, in a little under 1 year, which is very good!:woot:

But! :shock: We can do better, we need more members to keep the site fresh and to keep the content fresh:thumb:

What can we do i hear you all say? :Ponders: well, you can all do your bit!:D In your blogs, on your websites and in your sigs, you can put a link to us, that way other like minded people will find their way here! (thats if you havent already told everyone you know.....):nunu:

So do it for us, put a link to us in your blogs, on your sites, and in your sigs, and lets see how quick we can get to 500 member! :D

Have also mailed a few friends the link as well and had good feedback.

I think one thing that doesn't help membership levels is allowing guests to view the forums openly. OK so it may put some people off so there's a tradeoff....

Evilowl, yes your right it would be better to make the forums log-in only, but thats not the kind of guys we are...open, caring and sharing!
 
Very well deserved.

It's a good bunch here, knowledgable, skilled at their art and above all freindly and humourous (especially Marcel, you are one hell of a character!)

A very pleasant and informative place to revisit...not eqiupment orientated....a nice balance between camera skills, equipment discussions, post processing an p!ss taking.

A winning formula :thumb:

400 members is a great landmark, although we do need more members. I'd just like to thank our regular member/contributors who do so much to help keep this site interesting. :)

Well done everyone and here's to the next 400! :clap:
 
I took a look at this site 6 or more months ago - saw that the activity was very low and did not get round to checking back again for some time.

When I did come back it was prompted by a change on another forum. Once I dipped my toe in the water here it soon became obvious this was the place to be ;)

Why not do a newsletter email to the membership and prod the inactive members into taking a look again?

Newsletter is a great idea(so naturally its already in the system)we do one every now and then, otherwise people get fed up with them!
