Technically these are out of stock (price shows at £10.26) but look on the right-hand side of the screen and if you're prepared to wait a few weeks you can get 4 top-quality rechargable NIMH batteries (reputedly comparable to Eneloops) for just a smidgen over £1 per battery. Good find. They appear to be the newer formulation, low self-discharge NiMH.

They are only 2100 mAh.

I just received 4xAA 2900 mAh Vapextech for £5 delivered from ebay. They are the "older" type, but for use in flash are excellent. I might get another batch and superfast charger.

lidl recently sold the older style 2600mah batts for circa 2.75 for 4. They work great in my flash gun. You might find a few still knocking around a store, probably near the checkouts as they won't have a large enough stock to warrant shelf space now.
