I am going to find myself in London for about 4 hours on Sunday afternoon.

I fancy having a nice walk and getting a few snapshots. Hoping to include houses of parl, Big Ben, St. Paul's / millennium bridge.

Anyone got any other ideas / routes ?

Cheers.

Start at Charing Cross where you have Trafalgar Square. Then down Whitehall to Parliament Square with Palace of Westminster (Lords & HOC, St. Stephens Tower aka Big Ben), & Westminster Abbey.

Then to Westminster Bridge and see the London Eye.

Walk along The Embankment to Millenium Bridge, St. Paul's, Tate Modern etc.

Enjoy!!!!!! but check forecast and have good walking shoes. Distances aren't far if your ok on foot. There are good bus routes. Avoid cabs as expensive

That's exactly the sort of thing I was after ...... Brilliant, cheers!

I'm happy to walk, hate cabs anywhere and I have waterproofs!!!!

Looking forward to it!

Cheers.

You can also get a River Bus at Westminster. Can take you down to Greenwich and back. Cutty Sark, National Maritime Musuem etc. Stops en route too. Don't know how long the ride is nowadays or how much but I'm sure Google would assist.
