365 Over? Now What?

My 365, along with a few other's have just finished.

I'm sitting here in limbo, I feel strange not having to use the camera to take a shot today. :suspect:

I wish the 52 would hurry up and start. :nuts:

Anyone else feeling the same?
 
I was thinking of start a 365 today.............................thought it might give me the push to make sure I use my camera more. Just not sure how my will power will last seeing it through to the end though.

I didn't think I'd make it past the 1st week Kim, if you feel that it's something that can help you give it a go. You've got nothing to lose.

Very true, and I have to admit after last nights new years partying I did awake with an idea for my first shot. ;) Like you say, nothing to loose.

Mine was a very last minute decision, I think I decided to do one at 10pm on 1st January 2009. Was talked into it by someone not from these forums. Ironically, he lasted a week and I made it the whole way. :D

On another note, I didn't think Marc would last a week either. :p ;)
 
Absolutely JD. I'm doing a 52 this year too, want to learn more about how to take a good shot and do more processing. I also want to have more time to look through these forums and support other people and learn from them. That was just impossible last year, it was all I could do to keep up with the 365! Thanks for your support this year and congrats on getting through it all !! :)
 
I was thinking of joining the 52'ers but I think I would end up getting itchy camera fingers. Whilst 365 seems a lot (for me) the 52 just doesn't seem enough.

I shall give it a go, even if I don't make it at least I will have given it a go :D

You too Kitten. :D I've completely neglected the rest of the forum as well, life, my 365 and the other 365's got in the way a bit.

Even though I slagged him in my previous post, I completely admire Marc's ability to shoot a 365 and moderate this forum.

Hat's off to you mate. :thumbs:

If a 52 isn't hardcore enough for you a 365 will definitely be. :) It's not a challenge to be taken lightly. ;)
 
If anyone's thinking of doing one, I can heartily recommend it.....Its great fun. Hard work and sometimes annoying, but at the end of it, the feeling you get is brilliant. The feeling of accomplishment and self-achievement.

Also the pure sense of freedom you experience on the 1st Jan, when you don't HAVE to take a shot, you WANT to take one. :)

It does make owning and using a camera part of everyday life, so much so that people don't recognise you without one. :D
 
I agree with that...the freedom! But you still get ideas into your head. It's great for flexing your creative muscles, because they keep flexing long after you stop.
 
It does feel very, very strange. I feel a bit lost but strangely liberated! :lol:
