This week the challenge is...

Umbrellas in The Dry

Firstly apologies for the delay in posting and the prompt from Tim, these newbies tut tut :-).

As the rainy season is approaching (Did we actually have a sunny season?) I thought I'd pick umbrellas but.............. only shots where it's not actually raining.

Usual rules apply:

All entries must be new photos, taken within the time frame of the comp.
Maximum of 3 entries per person.
Limited PP, cropping, exposure control, sharpening etc is okay, multi layered cut and pasting is not.
The winner chooses the theme for the following challenge.

Entries can be posted from 8pm on Thurs 1st October until 8pm on Sunday 4th October, with the winner announced later that evening.

I hope I got all that right!

Wow, thanks for the mention! Wanted to try something a bit crazy for this :D

Well done to the others. I could have picked a winner out of any of the other 3 to be honest. 3 excellent photos. Nice work :clap:
 
Here was meing trying to be all "keep to the rules" by only mentioning the 3 winners. :)

I did'nt dislike any of the pictures, but chose the three I liked the most.

I wasnt knocking your taste or decision, or taking anything away from your choices it was your challenge and I respect your choice, I just said which was my fav, and it seemed strange not to mention as the only other entry, that didnt :shrug:as highly commended if you see what I mean

anyway I know their for fun, its the taking part and all that, challenge, I look forward to the next one may give it a go, but not much time as we go on holiday Thursday
