35mm emergency in London - anyone know a solution?

Hi all,
Basically, I had to salvage a roll of 35mm colour out of a malfunctioning camera, this was done in my darkroom, and it has been stored in a light tight room since. I am not equipped to do C41, and don't know of anyway to transport the film to a lab safely? I made an inquiry with Genie Imaging to inquire if I could send it in a light tight bag with big note on it, and they said they would take it, but I am hoping someone in the London area may be interested in giving it a go for a fee? I could put it in a tank for transport...?

can't it be wound back into the canister ?
 
I'd let Genie do it, a lot of places wouldn't want to take it on so the fact that they do probably means that's a good route to take.

Not sure what you're asking - do you want someone to come around to develop the film for you, or are you trying to move your room, so that the film can be kept in the dark for developing ;)

The easiest solution, is to use a reloadable cassette.

1. Cut the film where it's jammed, and unspool the rest of it in the dark.

2. Take one free end to the cassette spool of the reloadable cassette.

3. Spool the film by hand and wind into the canister.

4. Screw the top of the canister into the canister.

5. Hey presto - light sealed, and you can leave the film canister in any lab.
