Philips batteries are normally very good. I buy packs of 20 Panasonic AAs from Argos, usually £4.99 (use them in my torch for work) I reckon those philips will do nicely for that.

Focus are selling packs of 12 Kodak AA & AAA for £1.99 just now too.
