300mm 2.8 Prime - Bag recommendations please

Hi all..

I'm still in the process of seriously thinking about purchasing a Nikon 300mm 2.8.

With hood, plus body & teleconverter attached, which bags do you guys/girls recommend?
Any guidance/help/recommendation is much appreciated.

I don't want anything massive but keeping the hood attached is a preference here.

Is it JUST for the single lens and camera? Or for carrying THAT and a selection of other gear?

I have used the Lowepro Phototrekker for about 25 years now. This is my second one because the first was damaged during a motorcycle accident - they actually had my riding gear, helmet and rucksack on a mannequin on their stand for a few years as an example of how well it stood up to the crash - it was torn, but only on the outside. The zip was damaged so it could be opened, but wouldn't close again afterwards, it hgot road rash, of course. The gear inside was undamaged - they gave me a new rucksack in return for the gear. I was only going to chuck it out otherwise (this was back around the time of the Dryzone being launched - which I helped to develop, because I wanted a fully waterproof camera rucksack for my marine work). That should help you date how old my current Phototrekker (might be PT Pro...the bigger one anyway, because they do various sizes) It is still perfect and I am sure it has at least another 20 years left in it. - Oh, the crash, was in California and I came off on tar banding at about 60mph. I was OK, roughed up a bit, the gear was OK, but the bag was roughed up more - it served it's purpose for the rest of the trip though, but I had to continue by hire car.
 
Thanks for both your responses much appreciated. I ended up going for a Think Tank Glass Taxi.

I wanted to keep the lens attached to the body with a teleconverter but didn't want anything too big to carry around. Bit of a big ask in all honest but the Think Tank Glass taxi was spot on.
