So excited!
I got the 300D back when it first came out, and enjoyed learning it inside and out, as time went on and I tried new and different photography I started seeing where Id like to go if I upgraded, so I kept putting it off, going for glass instead of a body and today was the day I said heck with it and got a shiney new 40D.
Got it from Jessops, collect at store, very happy infact, got a free bag which I dont need, the guy was friendly, relised I was upgrading not buying new so didnt try to sell me things I didnt need, even offered 2 reciepts one for me one for the cashback which was nice, I was going to ask anyways.
First impressions are good, had a good nosey through the manual but the amount of research I did prior to buying meant I knew what I was in for, the only thing I'm
at is C.Fn IV, where to put AF and AE lock, one thing ive been hankering for for years with my 300D.
So, a big thanks to this great community, I don't post much but I read everyday, it was nice to see so many good reviews from everyday users.
Enough waffling, going to take the dog out and try it out with the 70-200F4L while the weathers nice.
