Yes
There are similar threads but sometimes its nice to get a personal answer.

Recently been looking into doing some budget studio/strobistesque stuff and at the moment the only way I can trigger my flash off camera is via optical, but that means the 300D on camera flash obviously has to be fired.

Looking at the cheap ebay wireless triggers (and yes I have read the other threads :) ) and have the following Q's...

Wireless:

1. Can one on camera trigger be used to trigger multiple off camera flashes, say 2/3 Sigmas or any other flash? (if they all have receivers on)

2. Can I have the Sigma off camera and then use that to trigger other flash's (and is there any benefit of this over Q1?)

PC Cord:

The other way I've seen is hotshoe>PC adaptors, sound good if I want to retain ETTL functions off camera, any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Can't help with the wireless stuff but PC cord doesn't retain ETTL :(

On the other hand, what does ettl matter? The kind of setup you're talking about is going to be pretty static and a couple of test shots will give you all the exposure info you want.

Yeah Steep I understand that, any thoughts on the wireless triggers mind? I dont mind using the flash in Manual - just thought if the PC retained ettl then that's handy.

So anyone used these cheap ebay triggers, basically I'm asking if someone can link me to ones they have used because I think I can wrangle these as a christmas present off someone. Been looking at the vivitar/sunpak flashes on ebay, just having a hard time seeing which triggers will work with both the Sigma + Older flashes + my 300D

update: Went for them anyways! Will tell you how they go :)
