Hi,

I was wondering should I invest in a 2nd flashgun or should I experiment with reflectors (seems the more sensible route, considering i don't make a single cent from photography) instead?

Any advice?

Experiment, experiment, experiment, and if you can't get what you are looking for and really feel another gun will do the job, by all means buy it.

Its easy to spend money without outgrowing what you have, I'm the world's worst by the way.

A trip into Poundland should net you a silver car windscreen shield, makes a nice cheap reflector for .....err..........a quid

that sounds great.

any cheap alternatives for a reflector stand, other than getting a friend-cum-assistant to hold the reflector? maybe i can stick the windscreen shield on my tripod

I've got a trigrip reflector that I bought off Ebay for a fiver that it's possible to hold in one hand whilst shooting with the other, haven't seen them being sold for a while though otherwise I'd buy another one, I've got a cunning plan...:naughty:

It's not that one, mine is twice the size of that one (ooer, missus :suspect:). I don't think the bigger one is available any more and for £4.50, delivered it has to be worth a punt

lean it against a chair :P
