22 today!

I think I watched the first episode too... didn't realise it was THAT old :eek: Don't watch any soaps at all now though.

I do watch a couple of soaps but theres one I cannot stand and its Eastenders - never before have I seen anything quite so demoralising and depressing - its Christmas, you know something bad is going to happen, someone will end up dying.

Its just terrible.

You need something with a bit of lightheartedness in it like Corrie :) That makes me laugh sometimes.
 
Goodness - I remember all the excitement when it launched - amazing to think that was so long ago!

Yes, OzCabs and the male nurse - Scottish chap who I think was called Andy and was married to that smug looking blonde woman (Debbie?!). Of course though the all time great storyline has to be Den & Angie - total "car crash telly"!
 
Wilmot Brown I remember him...yeah it was Kathy he raped, in the Queen Vic IIRC?

I used to watch it some years ago, when it was good of course.

Nowadays, it seems to have just gone way too far fetched to be believable. A bit like Corrie I suppose. But I'm a Manc, so corrie gets watched in our house ;)
 
hollyoaks is where its at.

some of the storylines may be a little far fetched and some of the acting is dreadful, but for girlie eyecandy watching theres no better substitute...
