It's the lower walkway on Bournemouth Pier, which is roped off due to decay....

It's certainly rusty, I can't workout what the black bit is (I bit of clothing may be), but it well positioned in the image.

Salisbury Cathedral Close, which encircles the Cathedral, has a really lovely properties looking onto the cathedral. With a bit of winter sun, they looked great.

Ted Heath's house is in the close, as an aside.

The dappled light helps with the shot imo, as it adds interest.

What's the brown square on the front of the house? I tried zooming in but I couldn't figure it out.

Perfect, really fits the theme well. Not sure that I'm going to get both a door and window in any of my shots...more of a windows and/or door theme for me...
