Does anyone have a copy laying about spare or know where, local to Nottingham I might be able to obtain one?

Willing to pay a reasonable price + P&P

Would the Haynes manual do? (PDF)

Possibly.................I've bought a Picasso today and no idea where everything is on it. Thanks for the help.

Staff edit: unless Haynes have authorised that pdf version, it possibly breaks copyright laws, and the site doesn't make it clear whether it's an authorised download. Can reinstate if shown otherwise.

so sorry to hear your sad news  ,the cars are really simple though it should only take a few minutes to acclimatise to it ,there are two storage compartments under the rear mats which are useful ,the rear seats fold or come out easily via the handles which you find by looking again self explanatory ,all other controls are to hand and work logically ,certainly not worth buying a book for .

p.s had two of these both only lasted a short time before dying of terminally expensive repair bills .good points plenty in the scrap yards for spares

Handbooks, apparently, are available as a free download from Citroen.

The manual is the only part of the car that doesn't break down ! lol

Had mine for 4 years with no breakdowns at all. Not even an electrical gremlin.

When you drive one you are praying it would have a terminal failure sooner than later :)

You might be but we found ours extremely practical, very reliable and comfortable enough for our needs. Not the most stylish vehicle but ticked all the boxes for us at the time. Can't have been that bad - look how long it was made for and sold.

as i said i have had two both 1.6 tdi 115bhp ones good for towing our two berth caravan ,the first gave up after 3 years when the gearbox gave up at the same time as the clutch leaving us with a uneconomical repair ,the second bought last year only lasted 6 months then started having massive electrical sensor problems ( bit like a close encounters landing scene, guess which one was gonna light up next) coupled with a allegedly faulty egr valve ,again uneconomical to repair ,it also somehow blew its oil filler cap off while driving leading to a very horrible mess all around the engine bay .good cars when running bloody expensive nightmares when they go wrong

extremely uncomfortable and poorly manoeuvrable on top of that. I don't know / don't care about reliability but seats alone put me off completely in the first instance. Honestly, I'd go for an old Transit van every time over these.

I had one on loan back in about 2004 for a few weeks while my c3 was in the shop it was absolutely awful. Its a box on wheels for transporting bad smelling babies and dogs to the shops and back.

Ours was the one with multi adjustable seats and was extremely comfortable. The cheapskates' one was less so.
