Got the news from my mate in the USA that the dealer I have my 1Dsmk3 on order with has it for me, and will be with my mate next week, time to book a flight to the USA and pick it up.
 
Its messing with my head knowing it will be with my mate next week and I wont have it, as I cant get there for 2 weeks.

Its also nice that I save £2K on the UK price just by buying in the USA.
 
Save 2k on the uk price wow, might have a trip over myself when I need new gear.
Any idea how much I would save on the Canon EF400mm f2.8 LU/2 or the Canon EF600mm f4.0 L IS USM.
 
Just check the B&H web site to see how much you could save, with the dollar at around 2.05/£ it could make sense to fly over.

I worked it out that even paying shipping charges , VAT and Duty I could save over £1,000 on a 1Ds lll from B&H

Love to get mho's reaction to his new camera when he gets it., could be in the market for one, just need to justify the £6K ( or £5K if I get it from B&H)

600 is $7200, so about £3600 ! Wow!
 
Im going to Seattle on the 28th!! i think i might be in trouble with my credit card p rovider!! lol... :thumbs:
