Funny enough this months Black and White magazine had a section testing rain covers, might be worth have a look for it :shrug:

I use these... owner is on TP ... I get the black one... absoloute pouring rain.. everyting stays dry

I also have a couple of Ruth's creations that have served me well in the past....only problem I have now is that it doesn't rain very often here

Ah Bob who bought my 300mm F4 a few years ago.

Bet you're getting lots of nice fresh veggies.

i use a "pro" model stormjacket on my 1dmk3 and 120-300 if that helps.. velcro opening for a monopod etc..

I was googling some camera websites and spotted this..blimey brought back some memories happy and sad.....I'm proud to say Ruth was My wife and she used to make the Camomac's think she made around 1000 over a couple of years so did well and she loved making them. Sadly 2 days after having the flu vaccine for the very first time Ruth died from blood clots in her lungs....she was 100% fit until she had the vaccine's with no health problems as you might guess i was and still am in shock even though it was 2018 she could have been saved but the ER doctors decided to leave her in a corridor on a trolley to die while 3 nurses were practicing dance moves and taking selfies 20ft away (i have seen the video from cctv) the doctor who told me he had done everything to save her wasn't in the building he was sitting in his car having a smoke. It happened at 1am on a Saturday night....I have had flashbacks eversince hence reason i am still awake at 2.14am on a Saturday/Sunday. I actually gave up photography after she died as i mainly took wildlife shots for Ruth but i am getting back into it now alot has changed in the camera world since then lol. Anyway just like to say she loved making the covers and she would be chuffed to know she's still about online lol RIP Ruth. PS There She is she spoke to many people online and on the phone about sizes of covers etc but nobody ever saw her....
