well it is america falls, you know the dull one you go past on the maid of the mist towards niagra falls!

From memory its was just a dam to stop water coming down the American falls, leaving all the water flowing down the Horseshoe side.

Amazing place to go and see if you get the chance.

I went to Niagra many moons ago when i was a wee lad and loved it. (My dad is Canadian)
Maid of the mist, and the tunnels behind niagra...wicked stuff!

I think they would struggle to stop the horseshoe falls, maybe do portions of it...who knows.
