18% Grey or Brilliant White

Planning of setting up a room in house for a small studio setup. Undecided whats the best colour to have walls and ceiling,,

Whats the benefit of having grey/white

Room standard size double room,,, used for portraits.

Lights will be Lencarta 300 watts,, that my Mrs is buying me for xmas (she dont know it yet) ill drop the bomb shell if i have to convince her i have to paint walls grey

Paint em white and you have the option of white or grey background just by light intensity. Makes the dear wife happy also because she may well not be happy with grey. Good Lights, I have the same.
