Just done a quick test with the new 16-35 2.8L against the original if it's of any interest to anyone :shrug:

All shot off tripod with remote release 16mm @2.8.....resized and cropped for web only.

Nice to see such a differance between the two... I was playing with the idea of buying a 2nd hand 16-35, but that test has shown me im better off saving a week or two longer and getting the mkII... :) Thanks.

Thats just what I was thinking.;)
 
The original does sharpen up nicely plus I've got it for sale in the classifieds.....don't let this test put you off :lol:
