15 30 sigma

hi all
trawling through the lenses that i can just about to afford, wondering if anyon has this lens what your thoughts are on it is it worth the money, i have a 30 d. think of 17 70 sigma as well.
main purpose will be landscapes

You have an 18-55 already yes? don't buy a lens that duplicates it, buy one that adds range outside of what you already have.

If it's landscapes then a Sigma 10-20 is a lovely wide lens that isn't too expensive.
I have the Sigma 17-70, it's not the sharpest lens but is nice and fast at the 17mm end and was a good replacement for my kit lens.
