Thanks again for the win and comments on the 13th thread! Very pleasant surprise! :)

Anyway - apparently I have to choose the challenge for this week!

So - this week, the challenge is...

A PERFECT DAY!​

Try and get a photo of what best represents a perfect day to you! It's a nice, open subject so get snapping :)


Usual rules apply (apparently - I've just copied and pasted these!): :rules:
All enties must be new photos, taken within the time frame of the comp.
Maximum of 3 entries per person.
Limited PP, cropping, exposure control, sharpening etc is okay, multi layered cut and pasting is not.
The winner chooses the theme for the following challenge

Entries can be posted from 8pm on Thursday 30th until 8pm on Sunday 3rd May, with the winner announced later that evening.

I hope you all have fun!
 
Hope you all enjoy the challenge - I was going to go with 'Songs' as it was one which produced a fantastic range of photos on another forum I'm on... But it was obviously such a good subject that it was taken for use by the POTY thread! :lol:

Oh well! :)

Just edging it over the doggie one as I'm a cat person - yep, it's their idea of a perfect day all right. Outdoors all day chasing birds and mice, then in for a feed and then to bed!

Fantastic shot, I love the colours, the crispness of the scene, the angle of the hill... well done - that's my winner!

Many thanks, Nick, for choosing one of mine :) I am really thrilled. I would have been really stuck if your challenge had been set outside of bluebell time. I wait all year for them and just adore those few weeks when they are flowering - it is all too short. It really is perfect for me.

Congrats to Ed and Shorty, too.

I am not at home at the moment so not much opportunity to go online, but I will try to set the next challenge today.
