I have the 70-200 so would the combo of 135 & 1.4x be equally as good on IQ and would AF be similar, I very rarely use it to be honest and I would very much prefer the 135mm, I have an 85 f/1.2 so I wouldn't miss that end.

For wildlife, i have a 300mm f/4 which I would like to use the extender with and it has IS so there'd be no need to use the 70-200 IS-less for an effective 280 f/4. Cost wise, selling the 70-200, I could buy the other 2 from panamoz with only a little bit more and I'd have a lot more versatility

So which would you go for?

If you rarely use it, then sell it and get what you will use!

People said I was crazy selling on my 70-200 VRII - well, I wasn't using it, so I thought more like crazy to keep it! I sold that, a Nikon TC 1.7x and my 105 macro. With the cash from those I bought an 85mm 1.8G and a Sigma 150 2.8 macro OS and plan to get a TC 1.4 for that. I was also able to afford the new Sigma 35mm 1.4 and still have change over.

Buy what you want/need, no point keeping stuff you don't, just because everyone else raves on them or uses them.

Cheers for the back up, I will wait until panamoz are back off their holiday and get my lens sold in the mean time hopefully
