I had spent time to cut down a 120 film roll to 127 size and found that I had to load the roll backwards in my 4x4 camera in order to get the 16-on markings in the little red window.
I shot a few frames with the camera, but having four 127 cameras to try/test, I didn't want to commit a full roll to each camera. I took the roll out of the first camera and loaded it, still backwards, into the next camera.
I was surprised to find the the 16-on markings were on the other side of the paper, not in the window. So this camera will have to have the film rewound and loaded forwards.
This must mean the 127 roll film has the markings (I think 12-on) on both top and bottom of the paper backing.
Is this correct, or am I missing something/going crazy/have very unusual cameras?

Ok I’m lost ! :thinking: :LOL::LOL:

Im sure that somewhere in there, all makes sense, but as I’ve never adapted 120 film to 127 , I’m struggling to understand exactly what is happening. .

Perhaps , being a bit dim, it would be best if I search an easier topic to reply to :sorry:

I'm struggling a bit myself, no wonder if I don't make sense..... I think that I must be wrong/confused.......It's likely that on one of the cameras, the numbers were in generally the right place, but just not aligned with the window. Ah... I'll start again.
