Yes
My daughter wants to get some 120 films developed.

She would prefer develop and scan rather than prints.

She is looking for reasonable quality, fairly quick turn around, and a reasonable cost, as there are quite a few that she will need.

Also, and indications of cost?

Thanks

There might be a difference depending on whether they're colour films or b&w. I've been happy with Filmdev for processing and scanning colour print (C41) film, and you can find their prices by clicking on the "How do I order" button on https://filmdev.co.uk/

I hear a lot of good things about analogue wonderlabs, an offshoot of the analoguewonderland site. Might have a voucher for them if you want, too, save a bit while she tries it out

Many labs do bnw by hand and charge a silly fee although I think Analogue wonderland have a jobo now for it, so id try them first or shoot XP2 as c41 in 120 and 35mm is very competitive from £4 a roll everywhere to £6

If it is at all an option, then home developing herself ticks everyone of those boxes and more;)
Yes of course, we have a tank and will be doing that, I did all my own developing and printing for years.
She wants to test the camera first, and see what it can do (she is more of an artist than a photographer, photography is just one aspect of art for her, though she does have a very good eye)

By doing things in stages, it means there are less unknowns at each step.

That's two for Analogue Wonderland, so will have a look later today, thanks.

I'd also recommend SilverPan Film Lab and the Exposure Film Lab, both offer great service. Dev, Scan and normally you just download via a dropbox link.

Used both without fault for the last 3 years or so, though I'm soon going to start to Dev my own B&W and just send off colour.

+ another 1 for Filmdev. Cheap, reliable, quick turnaround. Small scans are included in the dev cost, and they're sent via file transfer before you get your negs back.
