Save the backing paper off a roll of film and roll it onto a spare spool. You can then use this as often as you like to test exposure counters etc on cameras, and to practice loading mags,
 
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:Why didn't you come out with this yesterday. Would have saved me chucking to perfectly good (but unlikely to be used by me) rolls away trying to figure out what was going on with my newly acquired but non functioning back.
