Looking to buy a 10 stop nd filter and I know Lee filters are probably the best out there but find it hard to justify spending the best part of £200 to buy the filter holder, adapter rings and the filter so have seen a Tiffen 10 stop filter on sale at around £30 and it seems to get good reviews so was wondering if anyone has used one or if they can recommend another filter that gives good results without breaking the bank, cheers!

I think HAIDA PRO MC 10 stop filter has some good reputations. Search the forum, lots threads about them. If you want go cheaper way. But if you will be using on few different lenses (different filter sizes) slot-in filter is the way to go. Also it may be enough for you HiTech Pro Stop 85mm?
