Hi,
Thinking of one of the above. Clearly large price differences but what do you think about IQ? Is the Canon worth the extra money?

Cheers,

Dunc

I have had the EF-S 10-22 for nearly 2 years now - great lens!

So you might not use it every day but it is a cracking lens, sharp as the ef-s range could be and a real pleasure to work with!

Go for it!

Duncan F,

One of the guys at my work uses one for magazine cover shots etec and his si the Canon. It's a well-built lens that focusses really quickly but that's about as much good that I can say abotu it*–*vignetting and horrific abberations when it's wide open mean he's had piccies printed that really do look shocking. Not seen the Tokina one but a few of the other guys use the Sigma and it's noticeabley better, although not perfect. A good lot cheaper though.

Just waiting for my Canon 10-22 from Kerso (tomorrow hopefully) £390 + 10 del (-55 cashback)

Was considering the Sigma, but felt the canon would offer me better quality in both build and IQ for effectively £50-60 more (after cashback)

I wanted the extra wide reach, so didn't really consider the 12-24 (Sigma or Tokina)

Your choice of lens will also be determined if you have or plan to get a full frame in the near future. Although re-sale on these will probably be good.
