After a crappy week it's nice to see this morning that an image I took in Uzbekistan a couple of months ago has been shortlisted in the Historic POTY awards.
The Shah-I-Zinda mausoleum is stunning to walk around and you can spend hours there. I got to visit twice and this was from the second visit.
Back in August I spent three and a half weeks in the Central Asian country of Uzbekistan. A stunning place with its architecture, history and also people.
Part of my journey saw me on the border. A border that makes you think incredibly hard about your place on this Earth.

Back in January this year I was lucky enough to be commissioned to photograph the Patagonian fjords and every else that goes along with it.
As I'm often traveling I hadn't had the time, until now, to put the vlog together.
If you need some mountains in your life then do take a...

Been traveling extensively the last three months and only stopped last week. Taken in the Netherlands; Vietnam; Italy and Russia before going back to Vietnam.
This is from September and is a little short but I tried to include as many photos as I could.
Appreciate any comments...

Been crazy busy at the end of 2018. Trying to find time just to slow down and get some time isn't easy at all!
In any case, here's a glimpse of Japan from a couple of weeks ago. Awesome autumn colours in parts of Kyoto.

Probably not high on some people's radar but it really should be. Absolutely amazing place. Many challenges but if you can overcome your fears then you'll be fine.
Hi all, I am off to South Africa next November on a safari and I'd prefer not taking a suitcase plus a separate camera bag. My question is really, what backpacks do you recommend that can hold my gear and almost 2 weeks of clothes, swimwear, personal hygiene things and documentation?
I cannot...
Photography is not a profession but a hobby. I like traveling and have a thing for taking great landscape photographs. Clicking pictures of beaches, rocks, mountain peaks and beautiful landscapes is something I love. Have already purchased Nikon D3200 with 18-55 kit lens and a tripod. As I said...
I'm off to northern Finland next week on a work trip - a place called Joensuu. Not sure I'll have much time for photography but does anyone know of it? On Flickr there are lots of photos of lakes and pine trees and urban grafitti and not a lot else.
I fly back via Stockholm where I'll be for a...
After much though and deliberation. Much thought about is this actually going to be worth it etc I've decided to see a psychiatrist who pushed me out the door and told me to get on with it.
This is my first attempts at doing this kind of thing. Just doing this intro segment took 5 goes...
