Hi,
I'm looking at getting a camera for amateur product photography, macro, still life and occasional landscape. It will mainly be used to take photos of products I'm selling on eBay and Etsy etc.
After doing a lot of research, I've decided an APS-C camera will be more than adequate and I'd...
Hi everyone! This is my first post, and I'm excited to share a photo with you. I captured this image while hiking in a valley in Keswick, UK.
For this shot, I used a Canon EOS 100D with an 18 mm lens at f/3.5 and a shutter speed of 1/500 sec. I didn't use a flash; the exposure was set to 0.

Well, it seems that the stars seem to be aligning at the moment. Just had word from the PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris competition that I've been awarded a Bronze in the Nature/ Landscape category of the competition. Feeling very stoked at the moment :D
I was challenged by a friend to go out and take some landscape photos only using a 50mm prime lens. Below is my vlog to this challenge. If you enjoyed it please give it a like and consider a subscribe to follow me when out and about with my camera.

Back in January this year I was lucky enough to be commissioned to photograph the Patagonian fjords and every else that goes along with it.
As I'm often traveling I hadn't had the time, until now, to put the vlog together.
If you need some mountains in your life then do take a...

Been a while since I posted here but thought some people might like to see some imagery and footage from Mongolia.
Probably not high on some people's radar but it really should be. Absolutely amazing place. Many challenges but if you can overcome your fears then you'll be fine.
Hello Peeps,
After studying and reading a lot about DSLR's and lenses, I've finally come to conclusion to buy
Sigma 10-20mm 1:4-5.6 EX DC HSM for my Nikon D3200. I'm planning a trip to Europe and have a Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm kit lens. I know its great for landscapes but I do not want to be...

Hi all,
As I didn't drink on New Years Eve I decided to go out to Kilnsea Coast in East Yorkshire to see if I could capture a sunrise and a few other shots. At first it didn't look hopeful, but then it all changed.
This is a video on my YouTube channel of my trip out. Feel free to like...

I know some of you are subscribed to me on Youtube due to my travel photography adventures but I'm also planning a number of vlogs showing "how to" to do something.
This is one filmed in my local area on woodland. The woodland where I live here in France is nothing like the...
Does anyone have any suggestions for a sturdy but lightweight tripod? I bought one for about £80 in April and it has so may limitations I'm ready to invest in one that'll (hopefully) last for years.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for a sturdy but lightweight tripod for landscape photography? I bought one in April for about £80 but it has lot's of limitations and I'm ready to invest in one that I can use for years. Don't mind spending between £200-300 as it'll be a great investment.
With the new Nikon D810 replacement rumoured to be announced for the end of July - what would people like to see in it.
I personally think the 810 will be hard to improve dramatically. As a landscape photographer the D5 autofocus and tilt screen offer very little reason to make the upgrade. I...
