Hi everyone! This is my first post, and I'm excited to share a photo with you. I captured this image while hiking in a valley in Keswick, UK.
For this shot, I used a Canon EOS 100D with an 18 mm lens at f/3.5 and a shutter speed of 1/500 sec. I didn't use a flash; the exposure was set to 0.

Hi all. I am going to be staying at a caravan site near Chirk Castle next week (right next door to the castle in fact). Can anyone recommend any good landscape or other locations nearby, in case I manage to get out with the camera? Thanks in advance.
Hi
I am looking for a location in Leeds where I can achieve lots of dynamic city movement for a documentary I am shooting. The movement could be cars, cranes, people, or anything really - I'm just looking for places which show the city moving as an organism. The idea for the shot is to film the...
What is everybody's opinion of the Sony FE 24-105? Good or bad as an everyday walkaround lens for my holiday coupled with my A7ii?

Looking to go wider and I have seen the Batis 18mm/2.8...
Hi everyone.
I have just joined this lovely forum as I am looking for an outlet to make my photography as a hobby alongside my studio work, training and mentoring. I was a member of many forums in the OLDEN days (as I would call them) before the likes of FB and other social media platforms took...
Hi there, I'm an a level photography student in the UK and with the third lockdown here I'm finding it hard to communicate my ideas with a teacher that doesn't seem to care too much. I am aiming to create a surreal and fantasy piece for my final piece, incorporating a digital artist I have found...
The other week I went to Stone Creek to do some golden hour photography. Below is my vlog for those who enjoy photography vlogs. If you enjoyed please like and subscribe, thank you.
I'm totally new to this website so hello!

Christmas has passed and the new year is well and truly underway, for me however it's been a couple of months of little in the way of creativity or desire to be out with the camera and photographing the landscape.
I have been feeling both frustrated and disinterested in getting out and taking...

I have been trying to find out about a Japanese Nature/Landscape Photographer who's name was Shinzo Maeda. I own 1 book by him, which I bought at a second hand book shop a couple of years ago. Other than the short Wikipedia entry about him and the odd photo...
I’m a huge Mark Littlejohn fan - from his satirical outlook to his locations and processing.
I’ve been looking for gnarled and grizzly trees for ages, I’ve tried Cod Beck Reservoir near Northallerton, the moors north of Rivaleaux Abbey and Isthmus Bay and Hodge Close quarry in the lakes but...
