    Microphone for nature recording.

    Hi, I am currently looking into purchasing a zoom f6. I was wondering if anyone could give me any cheap recommendations for microphones. Im wanting to record nature sounds such as the Sea, Birds etc.. Many thanks

    Is the Tascam X8 ideal for recording nature sounds? What is the self noise like and is it comparable to the zoom F6? Thanks

    Self noise on the zoom H8 for nature recording.

    Hi there, I have a question about the zoom h8. I was just wondering is the self noise is quiet enough for nature recording? I have another field recorder which makes a fuzzy noise sound when I’m trying to record bird sounds. Would this be a decent option? Thanks
