So I've recently been bitten by the 3D print bug, I even sell things on eBay.
This got me thinking about photography related 3D parts.
What accessories have you bought or printed that are 3D printed? The only 3d part I have made is a lens cap for a vintage lens I have.
Very curious to here...
Taking inspiration from the classic Slide copier I designed a 35mm DSLR scanner thingy. It is still a work in progress though, currently using an old film holder from a cheap scanner.
It's designed for my particular macro lens but no reason it couldn't be adapted for other lenses.
Next step...
Thomas Heaton featured it in his latest video. Currently still a prototype but it certainly looks interesting.
It will depend on how much it costs, Heaton guessed around £700 for the camera alone with the 90mm f8 lens being £300+ on eBay.
