Does anyone know how to get rid of wind noise in Davinci Reoslve, (free version) ?

Recorded video yesterday and less than 10 minutes in the sound went funny, probably due to GoPro turning off and deleting the first bit of video. Other than that I have no idea how it happened.

Have a look into the fairlight noise reduction tool. I use the voice isolation so i'm not too familiar with the fairlight way

Put the fluffy thing on microphone next time
It had nothing to do with the dead cat. As mentioned above, I think it had something to do with the gopro switching itself off after about 5 minutes, and I lost that footage. Then afterwards there's wind on all the rest.

It is worth if you can to record some ambient background audio separately and combine in editing if you have unwanted noise in your footage
For wildlife video I use a Tascam handheld recorder and record audio as well as video while we are away on a trip

Thanks for the suggestion but I record fishing videos

I avoid wind noise by using an Azden SMX-30V microphone with a deadcat .

Had to watch a youtube video on it. It worked, but then noticed some of the sound wasn't present, so I've deleted the footage.

Thanks for the suggestion.
