Since it's still bloomin' cold out there, I'm sure many of us will be thinking of holidays past and future. I'm looking for shots of a memorable holiday of any kind, anything from lazing on a beach to mountaineering, including weekend meets with TP folk!.

As usual the following rules apply:

- Must be taken by you
- Must be on film
- Must have been taken and developed prior to the start date of this challenge, but can be scanned afterwards.
- Discussion in the discussion thread rather than the Entries thread, please.
- Shoehorning and even Crowbars are positively encouraged!

Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person

Entries will close at end of play, Wednesday 18th February with voting open for 3 days after that.

Entries only in this thread please, discussions can be found at https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/t...allenge-discussion-thread.698995/post-9699358

From a sailing weekend on Loch Ness in the late 90s with a dear friend no longer with us. More wind would have made for better sailing, but a great day for the photo. I'm guessing Olympus Trip 35 as that's what I normally took on the boat, Fuji film was my favourite at that time and d&p possibly Tesco when they still did film.

Cancun, Mexico, September 2001 for my brother-in-law's wedding. At the meal after the wedding we were entertained by a mariachi band. This is the tres player.

Yashica GX rangefinder, Tri-X.

I had two of these outstanding fixed lens rangefinder cameras which I sold to finance the purchase of a Leica IIIA, wish I hadn't.

Tunisia - sometime in, maybe, 2001.

Pentax Espio 140. And probably some form of Kodacolor Gold (ETA I've since converted a few of these to B&W)

Booked the holiday off Teletext.

Memorable as it was probably the worst holiday we'd been on. First time we'd done an all-inclusive, but it wasn't a good one.

Really wanted this guy to look up, but he was either aware I was trying to photograph him or had a stiff neck.
