2026 Week 13 The Night Sky

That works well for the theme Alan. The splashes of blue sky and shadows help the image.

Nice bit of Jigsaw Hell Alan :)

Good image, who looks up these days, most heads down in the phone.

Nice

Nice lines - nice rust!

Who's knickers?

I can see the rust, but can't figure out the decay aspect. Still beautiful colours.

Well done, great spot ;)

week 1 and 2 in that pic

It's the lower walkway on Bournemouth Pier, which is roped off due to decay....

Nicely fits the brief and a well chosen crop, enough to make it interesting without being overwhelming.

Really good image for the theme, not sure if it needed the foreground object.

Works well.

I wonder what it is with Bournemouth and discarded kex?

I got money out the cashpoint outside Aruba and had to step over a similar pair.

Great shot Alan, lots of rust there...

It's certainly rusty, I can't workout what the black bit is (I bit of clothing may be), but it well positioned in the image.

It's Bournemouth .........

Doors and Windows
by Alan Webb, on Flickr

Salisbury Cathedral Close, which encircles the Cathedral, has a really lovely properties looking onto the cathedral. With a bit of winter sun, they looked great.

Ted Heath's house is in the close, as an aside.

I'm impressed. You managed to find a day with blue skies !!!
The dappled light helps with the shot imo, as it adds interest.

What's the brown square on the front of the house? I tried zooming in but I couldn't figure it out.

Perfect, really fits the theme well. Not sure that I'm going to get both a door and window in any of my shots...more of a windows and/or door theme for me...
