Show us yer film shots then!

Another new-to-me camera, another set of test pictures.......
This Minolta Dynax 505si Super replaces my Dynax 5 as a capable image maker. The Dynax 5 indicates low battery most of the time, and I recently found out that it will not work when at 10c or lower. This is fine on the same pair of batteries and is very similar in performance. Worked very well on this cold test outing to my usual test destination, by the Rochdale canal.

These were taken using the 35-105mm zoom lens at 35mm. I found that I like 35mm rather than 50m for a lot of my images, but finding a prime is not easy/cheap.

Nice photographs and very interesting about your camera, I have the 500 version which is my wife's camera, she has not used it, but I will run a B&W fil through it soon

On a short walk in fairly flat light, I was disappointed with the weather, it had forecast some sun (which did happen, but on the drive home!).
I didn't expect much from my images for the day, but at place I have photographed many times, this one started as a flat image but was transformed by simple contrast adjustment.

A couple from today, out for a walk in the low sun, with a camera to test.

A scale focus King Regulette. Fomapan100 (in Bellini Duo Step).

This camera has a "Cassar" 2,8 3 element lens, which I guess may not have been the most desired lens of its day.

A bench in a woodland park.

King Regulette (scale focus) Fomapan100

One from the first roll. The bottom of the frame was blown by light as this was the last image on the film. When winding from a bulk roll, the film off the bulk roll has its end exposed to light as it is attached/taped to the tag/film stub hanging out of the cassette, so the last images before hitting the end stop are lost. This one has nice focus on the bench at f4, so is encouraging for further use.
