I've used www.digitalframesdirect.com in the past. Good selection of frames up to 19". I have the 15" Memory View and I'm well pleased with it's performance.

I use after market hoods on my 17-85 and 70-300 both fit no problem when in use and reversed for storage. Used the money I saved towards some ND grads.

I'd suggest the Canon Digital IXUS 850IS Camera as I find it to be an excellent compact. Only problem is it's been superseded. Have a look at the Canon Digital IXUS 870IS it would be my choice if anything happened to my 850.

I've got the 3-way and a ball head with the 283. Find both are excellent to use. Have no problems with slipping on either. Just a pity the handle sticks out of the case when the 3-way is fitted.

I've had the redsnapper with ball head for a few weeks now. Well pleased with it. Strong and sturdy. All for just under £100 with TP discount.
