Trying to find any information on this is proving difficult.
Are there various situations in which you would light you backdrop from behind rather than from the front?
Assuming your backdrop is a white bed sheet or cloth backdrop.
I am thinking you should light from the front to...
Been looking around the net and reading an awful lot of reviews on studio lighting.
I have narrowed my choice down to 2 different makes (no names mentioned)
My question being, for portrait shots of couples and kids which would you choose.

I was wondering which way around would be best but I thought the Lencartas woudl be best suited to lighting the background (but I know nothing)
Is this due to colour temp or some other reason that I am yet to understand ;-)

I have a backdrop, umbrellas, stands etc, an SB900 & SB800 but would like to get a more seamless white backdrop.
I am considering either buying another SB800/900 or a lencarta smartflash kit with umbrella and softbox.

I had cropped and re-sized my images to 10x8 already so would have to re-crop to fit the method above.

hello, all.. How in the flinkin blip do I get the panel script to create me a 10x8 image with 3 rows and 3 columns?
Is there an easy way or is it just math (which I am clearly no good at)?
