Had looked at this one, yet some listings on eBay say it can't be used on the A series.

Cheers Stewart, i had seen that. The recommended ones are a fair bit more than I'm looking to spend apart from the Vello that i can't find in the UK.

Looking for a adaptor so i can use my Nikon fit lenses on a Sony A7R. Need one without an aperture ring so i can use the aperture control on the lens. Most i seem to find have the aperture ring or say they can't be used on the A7 series. Really don't want a expensive one as its not doing...

Front filters are not an option for me. I was just going to get a IR conversion but the cost has gone up and I'm reluctant to be paying it if I'm honest. The FS conversion is cheaper, having the clip on filter installed and left there it will be the same as having an IR converted camera. But...

The FS conversion is cheaper than the IR conversion. Not a huge amount in it once you have bought the filter but then the filter can be changed to different strengths. I belive it is the same as having a lens mounted filter, yet theres no messing about adding filters as the clip on filter can...

Ive a cheap unwanted Nikon D70s thats been converted if your interested. Much better than using filters in my opinion. IR photography can get pretty addictive.

Don't really use Facebook but set up a photography page earlier this year (take a look if you wish link in bio). Not really sure what to do with it? Should i join groups? I wouldn't even know where to find relevant groups to join?
