Hi, Im not sure if i'm missing the obvious on my D40x, I have everything set to auto, with my 18-55mm lens with auto focus attatched. It seems the AF-Assist illuminator isn't working, thus causing it not to auto focus. Ive been through every menu and set all to auto. Does anyone have any ideas...

Hi, Im a relative new comer to the world of DSLR, always ha SLR camera's - it seems things are much easier now ! Ive just purchased the 'entry level' Nikon D40x, i'm already enjoying the results. Cant wait for you all to give me all those top tips ! :thumbs:
