Has anyone used a sigma f1.8 for ringside photography? I'm thinking of getting one for pro wrestling and boxing - every review of it says it's a must own lens, but none mention sport! Anyone got any info? Thanks!

Hi Decided to post here so I wouldn't hijack anyone else's thread! I'm going to shoot independent pro wrestling as a complete amateur on Sunday. I have a few questions, I have the following kit: Canon 1100D, 50mm f1.8, 18-55mm kit lens, 55-250mm. I assume ringside my 50mm would be too close...

Can confirm the 55-250 is lovely for the price , got mine off ebay for around £80-90 cant remember
