Thanks all. I planned to go out with the camera today but it's so cold it's unreal!

Not sure how I managed to join 2 years ago then never post, this time I'll try harder! I use a Canon 30D and have my own gallery which is in my sig. I shoot all sorts of stuff and have no set style to speak of.

That's the other big can of worms about colour profiles, I had this nightmare too. I needed to make sure Photoshop was set to Mac RGB, and as long as your shots are in or converted to sRGB, just make sure the colour profile isn't saved with the jpeg and they should look the same in FF and...

If there really is more noise, would that not be caused by having so many more pixels than the D3 perhaps? Just a guess...
