    Punch Technology

I bought my last PC (~2 years ago) from them and everything was fine, it took around a week to be delivered and not had any issues since. They must have been recommended on here a lot at the time as I hadn't heard of them until I did some searches.

Best alternatives to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

I have Affinity Photo and use it intead of Ps in my soon to be expired subscription. Anyone use ACDSee? It seems to have decent cataloging and features but it never gets mentioned. I did trial it plus a load of others a few years ago when Lr went subscription and if I hadn't decided to just...

    Should I tip my builder?

Hi everyone - thanks for all the comments. Perhaps I should have said some of this in the original post but yes I tip my postman and binmen at Christmas (actually not the binmen this past Christmas due to the s***ty job they did the previous year) and I would tip a taxi driver or waitress, etc...

    Should I tip my builder?

We're getting an extension done and so far I'm very happy with their work. It crossed my mind that I would tip a waiter, etc so should I tip my builder at the end of the job? Obviously not going to be 20% but I guess some of the people he has working for him aren't as well paid? Whats the...

    Amazon - are they S**t

Been an Amazon customer for many years and always rated it highly, but 2 years ago I had an issue with a delivery. I'd ordered a bottle of gin as a gift from them and it was to be delivered to my 84 year old mother - they wouldn't leave the package with her as she didn't have photo id so it...

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

We fly to Anchorage and then pick up a motorhome for a couple of weeks and will be following an itinerary something like this. Hoping to see wildlife and scenery (that's a bit vague isn't it?) :) Thanks

Ha ha - yes me too. Trying not to get excited about it at the moment!

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Anyone been to Alaska? We rearranged our holiday from last year to the end of August this year and we're cautiously optimistic about it. Even if we have to push it back again I will need a long lens for the trip (longest I have at the moment is the 70-180). The 200-600 is the obvious choice...

Panamoz - am I right to be concerned about my order?

I felt the same originally but there are so many great reviews on here and other forums (there are others?) that I ordered £4k of Sony gear a month ago and received it all two weeks later. I think most people receive their stuff quicker than that, but this was over Easter weekend and I did...

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

My order was placed on the 26th March so not quite so quick - that isn't a complaint as they do say on their web site that there could be up to a 14 day delay and I ordered something (Sigma 24-70) that isn't listed on their site. I will miss Pentax in that it's been to so many places and taken...

Well after hitting refresh every 10 minutes on the DPD web site this morning they said they had my package from Panamoz! Delivered an hour ago and A9 is on charge! Can't wait!

Hopefully not - I didn't often fill the buffer on my Pentax which was around 20ish RAW files, though it would take 4 seconds or so to take that many images then.
