I should have mentioned I make videos as well
I was never happy with my A7ii for video (loved it as a stills camera), which is why I'm looking at the iii's.
Needs to be a nice compact kit as now fulltime travelling in a motorhome (well, not right now obviously), so need a jack of...
Hey all - been a while :)
I'm looking to buy an A7 again and was thinking the A7iii, but the A7r iii isn't much more now.
I shoot mainly landscapes and I'll likely be using the Sony f4 glass as I liked it previously. Which camera would you choose?
Thanks.
Well, back in the a7 world :)
I sold my A7ii kit about 2 years ago to downsize to A6000 as was planning on moving into a motorhome fulltime. Our van has a PC built in and I work online, the idea was to travel around whilst working and enjoy life. I was never happy with the A6000 and missed my...
There is if happy with third party lenses and manual focus. Personally, I prefer manual focus anyway most of the time.

I already have the Samyang 12mm f2 and find it really good. Was planning on...
I hate this thread sometimes :)
I bought a new A6000 a month or so ago with a few primes and very happy with it (new project next year where need small and light everything). But £869 seems a very good price....
The new Sigma is really tempting as well. Just can't decide between it and Samyang...
Thanks Chris, that's good enough for me :)
Missed a shot tonight I think I'd have got if I still had my A7ii and annoyed. I'll order the little Godox now :)
Seems a lot of phones have had a big price jump the last two years?
My Nexus 6p was due for its upgrade this month. When I bought it, it was top of the line and £480.
I looked at the new Note and it was about £850 which I think is a lot for a phone.
In the end I decided to keep my immaculate...
Hey all. I use PremPro for editing video and love it.
This works great on my fairly powerful desktops and laptop, but I have a less powerful portable device turning up later today that I'd like to be able to do basic edits with from time to time. The device is a Samsung Galaxy Book which uses...

As a precaution, I backed up all my hard drives to external ones at the weekend (which I hadn't done for a while) and disconnected them. I have most data backed up anyway in cloud storage, but not images and video as they take up so much room.
I also (obviously) did...
Just a quick thanks for recommending this book. It arrived Sunday and I'm slowly absorbing and really enjoying it, not to mention learning a ton.
I went with the latest version 5 after searching for what the differences were with the other, earlier versions. I think any of them would have been...
