    Nikon d700 values

Having handled the D600/610 considerably and owning the D700, I just could not accept the lesser 'build to a budget' quality of the D600/610, the D700 is a pro quality DSLR, whereas the D600/610 looks and feels very plasticy. As regards image quality well that's another question, technology...

Bargain Sigma 150-500 OS inc 86mm DG EX UV filter

Many owners of the Sigma 150-500 have complained about the 'softness' of the lens above 400mm, personally I've managed some reasonably good shots at around 450 - but, I've had to use a tripod to achieve that. I'm not saying that in good steady hands the 150-500 is not capable of decent images...

    Is the D700 a Worthwhile Upgrade from a D300

I've gone through exactly the same dilemma, had to decide on upgrading from my D300 either to the D600/D610 or the 'classic' D700. I was not at all happy with the size/handling or overall quality of the D600/610 compared to either my D300 or the D700, in the end I managed to buy a virtually new...

Bargain Sigma 150-500 OS inc 86mm DG EX UV filter

Crafty bu**ers get you hooked then pop another £50 on the price  But the £100 cashback from Sigma is excellent. Having said that I've got this lens and I've not been excactly impressed with it, far too soft at anything over 400mm, and I bought it for the 500mm reach!!!

It's not my intention to pinch anyone's thread Munch, I'm just trying to inform those interested or perhaps those unaware of the more expensive tickets etc, compared to Focus on Imaging. I don't think anyone else has mentioned this (apologies if I've missed it ;)). The Focus on Imaging show...

    Part-exing at WEX Photographic

You should also get a quote from Camera Jungle, used PX specialists in the Surrey area, they offered me a very decent quote on a Micro 4/3rds kit. Cannot say more because I still hav'nt decided to take their offer up  Google them and see.

    Buying British

Hitech Filter Systems make excellent value for money products and are based in Aberdare, South Wales. I recently spoke to one of their directors and was told that over the past couple of years they've had to take on an extra 30 staff because business is so healthy, if we continue to support and...

    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

Great to see so much well deserved praise for the G2, I could'nt resist the incredible Tesco offer either, I'm going through a new learning curve and putting the camera through it's paces, only have the 14-42 kit lens at present, the 100-300 is tugging at my wallet though, and the £50 Panasonic...
