Has to be a new MacBook pro. My 2010 one is now just too slow running lightroom. It's been great but time to change.

You have to ask whats important. reach vs wide angle and low light. if you need the wide angle but are thinking if going full frame soon you have the 17-40 F4 L

I use to have one and i now have the F2.8 IS. The F4 is a cracking lens. Very sharp, quick to focus and very light to carry around

I have a 1DX and a 5D MKII which never ever gets used. So i think i will sell it (5) and get a 70D, why the better focusing (i hate the 5'S) more reach with the 1.6 sensor, tilting screen and the pop up flash when im out and about with the family.

Go for it, you equipment should not matter only your love of photography. So many great photographs i see online are not taken with high end equipment

I would edit each raw saving as a large jpeg in camera raw. Then run a image processor script to resize and then rename in bridge. Three steps but at least you are not working on each file individually. If you have lightroom you can edit the raws and in the export, resize and rename them so...

Looks like th focus is on the hand and not the face, was that the idea or is it just the low res image playing tricks

when it gets dirty, normally one or two quick passes with my sensor brush and its clean. Don't forget its not the sensor you are cleaning it's the AA filter thats sit in front of it.
