Had my 2nd injection in my right eye at Westmorland General Hospital this morning. The Macular Dept. Was rather busy but the staff were again very professional, organised and reassuring. I have my 3rd injection in a months time and then a specialist will assess my progress.
I've got the same problem. My wdmycloud is no longer supported by WD. I've copied all the files from it to a WD 2TB external hard drive using my old windows 10 computer.
Had my appointment yesterday afternoon at Westmorland General Hospital. My appointment was 13.00 and I was called exactly on time. I was given further examinations and scans and very shortly afterwards the specialist discussed my subretinal fluid problem in my right eye and the subsequent...
I visited my local Vision Express in Lancaster on Thursday (I'd previously used them) for an eye test and OCT 3D scan. The test indicated I do need new glasses but I was also told I'm showing initial signs of cataracts in both eyes. The scan also indicated I am showing signs of subretinal fluid...
I need to invest in a new computer to replace my old HP desktop. I've been looking at the Punch Technology website at their Best Value Photography Computer which I think will fulfil my needs. Has anyone any experience with Punch Technology?
Guess that's Eston Hills Alan, a favourite haunt of mine as a lad in the 50's and 60's. As a teenager used to hike from Eston over to Roseberry Topping, stopping off for a drink at the Cross Keys on the Guisborough Road.
I was watching Portugal with Michael Portillo on Channel 5. He was visiting the Algarve. There was a segment featuring a Coppersmith in Loule - I recognised him - I'd photographed him back in 2018.

Initially I was annoyed but I did get satisfaction in the end.
Yesterday there was fraudulent activity on my Sainsburys Nectar card - 6000 Nectar points cashed (£30) in 2 stores - Chatham and Eltham, places I've never been to in my life. I live in the North West of England and nearly all my...
The trains I occasionally saw were going to the brickworks, This would be during the late 1950's. Early 60's. Eston station was closed by then but the goods depot was in use until 1966.
Is that the old line which ran alongside Smith's Dock Park, acoss the bridge over Ormesby Road, across Flatts Lane and on to Eston station and also the old brickworks? I remember trains running on it too. I lived on Normanby Road, Ormesby in those days.
I previously had the 100-300mm but traded it in for a used !00-400mm in excellent condition as I wanted a bit more reach. Absolutely no problems on my G9 and the zoom function is fine. I'm very happy with the results I am getting. I also have a GX80 but I've not tried the 100-400mm on that yet.
