    portable studio lighting

This! I really could do with modelling lamps with my AD200's, there is an attachment (round head) you can get that has a modelling lamp but i'm not sure how good it is. Then, it'd be a faff about as you'd have to attach the round head, place your lights using the modelling lamp, then change the...

    Photoshop quick edit has gone?

Hi all, this could be a really stupid question lol, but I have the photography subscription to Photoshop and lightroom, before I reformatted my PC (it needed it), whenever I opened a RAW image in photoshop, I had the quick edit pop up where I could do quick lightroom style edits before actually...

So much choice , how do you pick

Good choice. I shoot FF with a Sony a7iv, but if I were to go back to apsc, i'd go back to Fuji after owning both an X-H2s and X-T4, I love the recipe system they use. Also, the lenses are pretty lightweight mostly too, until you start getting into superzooms like the 150-500 lol. If you do go...

    Travel / portable light stands?

I decided against travel stands and got a decent price on a pair of Kupo CL20MK stands after being really impressed in the quality of them!

    Travel / portable light stands?

Thanks for the input, Yeah, i figured the lightweight would only be useful in indoor situations without softboxes etc but they do look damn sexy haha. I guess i'll look at somethnig else, i need to take space into consideration too as the room i use for indoor photography is pretty small.

    Travel / portable light stands?

I'm in the market for some portable / lightweight light stands for my Godox AD200's, I was pretty sold on the Ulanzi MT-49 but they don't look sturdy enough for the AD200 with a softbox on, especially if i'm shooting outdoors with a little wind. Does anyone have these that can confirm...

    Cobra, Rest in Peace

So sad to hear this news, Cobra (Chris) was always one of the more active members of this forum, right from the early days when I was more prolific myself! He will be a HUGE loss to the forums and to the moderation team, but most of all, condolences to his family. RIP Chris :(

    Any members in New Zealand?

Hi @Sangoma I'm in New Zealand (Auckland) and would be happy to help. Also, I would like to extend this question, are there any more members from New Zealand here? I guess the distance from everyone else is part of the reason I've neglected this site for so long :(

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Loved the shop, they had a model island in the store with loads of focal points to play with, so you could get a great idea of how the lenses performed, never seen anything like it in the UK!

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

I went into the Sony store in the Emporium shopping centre in Bangkok today and they let me loose with the GM70-200 F/2.8 and the GM 100-400 to play with. Much love for both lenses, now, where to find £2k for each one :D Also had a play with the A9, now i feel like my A6500 is inadequate lol :(
